A digital rotameter is a highly accurate flow measuring instrument designed to quantify the flow rate of liquids and gases. Unlike traditional analog rotameters, the digital version integrates a magnetic float, electronic sensors, and a digital display for precise readings.
The rotameter operates on a simple yet efficient principle: as fluid flows upward through the tapered tube, it lifts a float whose position is detected electronically. The display converts this data into accurate digital values, offering real-time monitoring capabilities.
